I REALLY LOVE THE NEIGHBORHOOD THE PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY.BUT THE APARTMENTS ARE BROKEN DOWN THERE ROACHES EVERYWHERE AND THEY GOT THE NERVE TO BE EXPENSIVE! PLEASE DONT DO IT !!!DONT MOVE HERE!!! U WILL REGRET IT!!!! NO WAY U SAY U GOT TWO POOLS AND A GYM LMAOOO Whoever says this place is a nice place to live must know the people that work there or work for hidden lake because they are lying.first I want to say Miranda is amazing.but she is fighting against the real property owners that are not willing to pay for anything or listen to some of her ideas that could make the place all balls down to the people who are really running the show and they dont care and will not pay for it! ALL THEY WANT IS TO COLLECT RENT THEY COULD GIVE A DAM ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE! AND THE SAD PART IS I LOVE MIRANDA SHE TRIES HER BEST. THEY ARE GOING TO SHOW YOU THIS NICE APARTMENT TO GET YOU TO MOVE IN! Washing machines in the laundry mat dont work! except for maybe three.same thing with the dryers.ALL THE MACHINES IN THE GYM ARE BROKE EXCEPT TREAD MILL.THE POOL IS ALMOST ALWAYS DIRTY.IT HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR TWO WEEKS AND ITS A HEAT WAVE OUTSIDE 95 DEGREES NO PLACE FOR MY CHILDREN TO COOL OFF IN THIS HEAT!!! I AM A RESIDENT I SHOULD BE ABLE TO UTILIZE THESE FAKE AMENITIES YOU SAY U HAVE!!. I will say the only positive experience I had was the woman in corporate who took my payments for what I owed. I would not suggest this property to anyone as their Corporate and Management teams are horrible examples of business professionals.
As a result, my partner was diagnosed with cough-variant asthma from the chronic exposure to the mold in the master bedroom and increased humidity in the unit. They only replaced some of the carpet and cleaned the rest.at that point I broke the lease myself and only agreed to pay one months rent to keep there from being an eviction on my credit.I only stayed a total of 3 months (too long), the end!! In hindsight, I should have taken that much further than I did, but I was so tired of fighting with corporate, the front office, on top of work, school, and other responsibilities. All I asked was to be let out of my lease without penalty. Corporate had to send someone out as I couldnt make headway with the idiots in the front office.They were even worse! He swore me up and down there was no way that could be human feces, to which I had to assure him in my line of work as a RN with 2 degrees, I know the difference between trash and sh**! And that was definitely sh**! Management nor corporate was willing to do much. I thought the smell came from the apartment being closed up and old for awhile, but once we discovered that every time the neighbors plumbing backed up, it over flowed in our water heater closet and was continuously reabsorbed into the carpet and sub-flooring outside of the closet.the exposed PVC pipe on the wall allowed all types of foul smelling waste, yep feces and other unidentified waste into the home. There were mold issues, maintenance issues, and as you can see waste and plumbing issues! I had waste spewing into my apartment the entire time I was a resident and most likely before based on the smell that was present when I moved in.
I moved out in 2013 and NEVER looked back. The reserve at lake carolina.I would give them a 0 if I could! I havent thought about even leaving a review until now, as Im cleaning out my computer and came across the old photos we took.
